The Senior Business Support Analyst performs analysis, design, development, maintenance, and administration of computer hardware and software systems to meet business needs. Carries out functions such as monitoring and administering servers and related platforms; maintaining, developing, and monitoring network and/or telecommunications infrastructure and related components; and/or maintaining and configuring Human Capital Management (HCM) systems to ensure business requirements are met.

In this role, you will serve as an individual contributor within a team; upon the direction and guidance of leadership, you will be responsible for supporting daily tasking activities, meeting deadlines, and supporting department operations.

As R&D – Data Systems Engineer, Technology Center, you will develop, maintain, and continuously improve the software, data acquisition, database, and engineering systems that enable product verification, reliability, and performance testing within the Technology Center.

In this hands-on technical role, you will partner closely with R&D engineers and laboratory technicians to integrate data acquisition hardware, instrumentation, software, and data-management solutions used to evaluate cold storage and laboratory equipment. You will also provide local technical ownership and support for engineering design applications, including SolidWorks and related engineering software.

Your work will enable reliable, traceable, and efficient collection and analysis of engineering data while improving laboratory automation, test repeatability, and the productivity of product development teams.

You will play a critical role in embedding reliability into the New Product Development (NPD) process by driving structured risk identification, verification planning, and failure analysis. Your work will directly influence product robustness, regulatory readiness, customer satisfaction, and long-term field performance by ensuring reliability risks are identified early and mitigated effectively.

In this hands-on role, you will collaborate with other refrigeration engineers and technicians to deliver high-performance, energy-efficient, and compliant cooling solutions. You will partner closely with NPD design leadership and cross functional peers in Product Management, Controls Engineering, Quality, and Regulatory to define refrigeration systems, maintain traceability, and ensure products meet customer, performance, and regulatory expectations throughout the product lifecycle.

As R&D – Electrical Engineer, you will design, develop, and sustain control systems focusing on embedded microprocessor based system hardware and software supporting Thermo Fisher’s cold storage and ultra-low temperature (ULT) product portfolio. In this hands-on role, you will collaborate with other engineers and technicians to deliver high-performance, energy-efficient, and compliant cold storage solutions. You will partner closely with NPD design leadership and cross functional peers in Product Management, Product Engineering, Quality, and Regulatory to define hardware and electrical systems, develop embedded software, maintain traceability, and ensure products meet customer, performance, and regulatory expectations throughout the product lifecycle.
