Opportunity Description
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate and execute the deployment of desktops, laptops, and peripherals, including imaging and configuration.
Perform hardware installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting for end-user devices.
Manage deployments within a Microsoft environment, including Azure Active Directory, Intune, and Group Policy.
Utilize ConnectWise for ticketing, incident tracking, and documenting deployment activities.
Manage asset inventory, including logging and tracking hardware deployments and returns.
Provide on-site and remote technical support for hardware and software issues post-deployment.
Develop and maintain documentation for deployment processes, technical procedures, and user guides.
Assist in system migrations, including data transfers and software upgrades.
Ensure devices comply with organizational security and IT policies.
Participate in special projects and provide technical assistance for large-scale IT rollouts.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in desktop deployment, IT support, or a similar technical role.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS deployment tools (e.g. Intune, SCCM, and Immybot).
Proficiency with Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and Group Policy management.
Experience using ConnectWise for ticketing and service management.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deployments simultaneously.
Strong communication skills for effective end-user support.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Batch).
Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or similar.
Physical demands:
Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds of equipment, such as desktops, monitors, and peripherals.
Must have a reliable form of transportation to travel between deployment locations if required.
Ability to move freely, including standing, walking, bending, and kneeling, to install and troubleshoot equipment in various work environments.
