Opportunity Description

Position Overview

The Talent Acquisition Intern will assist in identifying, sourcing, and engaging top-tier talent to support the company's hiring needs across technical, systems, and cleared engineering positions. The intern will gain hands-on experience in the full cycle recruiting process, focusing on sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, and pipeline development to support future growth demands. This role is ideal for a transitioning military professional with strong organizational, research, and communication skills seeking to expand their experience in talent acquisition.


Skills Required:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Research and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand immediate hiring needs and long-term goals.

  • Conduct candidate sourcing using job boards, networking sites, and internal databases.

  • Assist in screening resumes and identifying potential candidates for technical and cleared positions.

  • Support the development of targeted sourcing campaigns to attract qualified candidates.

  • Participate in scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate interactions with hiring teams.

  • Build and maintain a candidate pipeline for critical and hard-to-fill roles.

  • Support initiatives to enhance the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.


Qualifications:


Required:
  • Interest in talent acquisition and recruiting. or human resources

  • Experience with recruiting and/or sourcing candidates in a military, DoD or professional setting.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field. 

  • Exposure to technical or defense/aerospace industries.
