Opportunity Description
Role Overview
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated intern to support our SMB
sales team with a prospecting initiative focused on the distribution landscape. This
intern will play a key role in identifying potential supplier leads and mapping them
to relevant distributor networks. Key responsibilities include:
Source distributor price books online or through provided resources
Identify other ways of sourcing distributor-supplier relationships (i.e. publicly on website for some smaller distributors)
Reformat price books into Excel (if provided as PDFs)
Extract brand and distributor relationship data from each price book or directly from distributor’s website
Enrich supplier company data with contact information using Clay (training provided)
Maintain an organized database of findings for easy review and outreach campaigns
Support team with ad hoc research tasks related to sourcing supplier information
Key Projects
Distributor Network Mapping: Review and analyze distributor price books to build a brand-to-distributor relationship map by market.
Lead Enrichment Project: Use Clay to enrich identified brands with relevant contact information (emails, titles, phone numbers company details) and prepare spreadsheets for the sales team
Skills & Qualifications
Strong research and data entry skills
Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets (must know how to clean and organize data)
Familiarity with converting documents from PDF to Excel
Interest in the beverage alcohol industry or sales operations a plus
Experience with lead enrichment tools is a bonus but not required
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Work Location & Format
Remote – Intern can work from anywhere within the U.S.
Regular check-ins via Google Chat and Google Meet
