Opportunity Description
In this role, you will serve as an individual contributor within a team; upon the direction and guidance of leadership, you will be responsible for supporting daily tasking activities, meeting deadlines, and supporting department operations. Primary expectations of a HRIS Analyst I include:
Primary Responsibilities:
Administers and maintains the enterprise HRIS solution.
Manages and updates employee records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Ensures accurate and up-to-date data entry, system configurations, and user access.
Conducts regular audits to identify and correct discrepancies in HRIS data.
Generates and analyzes HRIS reports to support decision-making and compliance and create custom reports and dashboards to meet the needs of various stakeholders.
Collaborates with IT and other departments to integrate HRIS with other business systems.
Identifies opportunities for process automation and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
Provides user support for HRIS system-related inquiries and issues.
Develops and delivers training programs for HRIS system users to enhance system proficiency.
Coordinates and participates in HRIS software upgrades and patches and test system changes and updates to ensure functionality and data accuracy.
Stays informed about changes in labor laws and regulations impacting HRIS data and ensures HRIS compliance with data privacy and security requirements.
Identifies opportunities for process improvement within HRIS workflows.
Liaises with HRIS vendors to resolve issues, implement updates, and enhance system capabilities.
Supports pre-onboarding activities, collaborating with Recruiting, IT and HR and candidates to cultivate a positive team member experience.
May support tasks associated with HR administration, inclusive of benefits support.
Assists in managing the HR/AT system backlog, helping to prioritize requests and communicate status.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 0-3 years of experience
Relevant years of experience may be substituted for education
Proficient with data tools such as Microsoft Excel, and/or Google Sheets.
Exposure to HRIS data reporting systems.
Preferred Qualifications: (Provide the nice to haves for this role; not having these will not disqualify the candidate)
Prior experience with dashboard tools such as PowerBi and/or Tableau.
Knowledge of IBM Cognos and SQL or other data warehousing solutions.
